Our mission is to unite, support, and elevate astrologers across all traditions, techniques, and experience levels, while creating a professional space that reflects the depth and diversity of this ancient celestial science.
We’re seeking motivated volunteers from diverse backgrounds to help build the future of sidereal astrology. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner, a tech-savvy organizer, a skilled communicator, a passionate writer, or someone who simply loves the stars—this is your opportunity to make a lasting difference!
All volunteer positions are 100% virtual, making it easy to participate no matter where in the world you are!
From Leadership to Support
We’re currently seeking volunteers to fill a wide range of roles—from executive leadership positions like Directors and Division Heads to focused, project-based roles like Project Managers and support contributors. Whether you have professional experience, creative skills, technical knowledge, or simply a passion for sidereal astrology, there’s a place for you here! Every contribution matters, and it’s through this collective effort that we’ll build an organization that truly reflects and serves the sidereal astrology community!
Oversight Groups
The ISAA’s three Oversight Groups help guide the ethical, educational, and strategic foundations of the organization. The Advisory Council offers insight, interdisciplinary guidance, and big-picture strategy; the Academic Board oversees certification development, educational content, and scholarly review; and the Ethics Committee is responsible for upholding the professional integrity of the ISAA and its members.
These groups play a vital role in shaping the values, direction, and long-term structure of the organization at the highest level.
Department Directors
Each department within the ISAA is overseen by a Director who coordinates teams, manages initiatives, and contributes to strategic development. Director roles are ideal for volunteers who enjoy leadership, communication, and big-picture planning.
Current director roles include Membership & Advancement, Education, Marketing, and Research & Development.
Each department plays a vital role in supporting the ISAA’s mission, offering a wide range of opportunities for volunteers with diverse skills and interests.
Division Heads
Each department is divided into Divisions, which are led by Division Heads. These volunteers manage the projects, personnel, and day-to-day efforts within a specific area. Division Heads report to their department’s Director and help translate strategy into action.
We are currently looking to fill roles in divisions such as Fundraising, Events & Engagement, Curriculum Develepment, Accreditation & Certification, Publishing, Advertising & Promotions, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, and Software.
Project Managers
Project Managers lead specific initiatives within a division. These focused, flexible roles are perfect for volunteers who want to contribute their talents to a meaningful project without the time commitment of a higher-level leadership role.
We’re especially looking for writers, content creators, educators, influencers, researchers, and organizers who are excited to bring energy and skill to projects that directly serve the sidereal astrology community.

Volunteer Perks
All active ISAA volunteers are granted ISAA Professional Membership during their time of service.
Volunteer benefits include the use of the official ISAA Professional Member Seal, a listing in the ISAA Professional Member Directory, and early or discounted access to courses, events, and future conferences.
Dedicated volunteers may also become eligible for Foundational Membership, the ISAA’s highest honor and a lifetime recognition of service.
