Just wanna say… aspects never lie. Everything about Aspects in Synastry translates directly to Sidereal work.
One of the better relationship astrologers is Jewel at (love the name) Truth In Aspect Astrology… she’s tropical but she focuses on aspects, so.
I do synastry and relationship astrology in a sidereal (constellational) format, but i don’t have any statements to make beyond that. Ask me anything.
Yeah it seems that when people understand the history better, and the details of the arguments, and the levels of ignorance that rode humanity for the last period of recorded history… the argument against tropical makes more sense. Hahaha ‘ignorance is bliss’ as they say.
Aristarchus and his student Archimedes (ancient Heliocentrists) certainly understood celestial mechanics better than Aristotle, better than Plato (both of whom wrote about Geocentric Universe), better than literally *anyone* until perhaps Copernicus. But this whole problem of doing what everyone else is doing because… um… no reason needed for many sheep, but the problem goes back forever like as far as we have history, we have record of seemingly charismatic influential people, leaders, misleading people out of ignorance or malice or some strange cocktail of both… and if you look deeper you’ll find someone, presumably less charismatic and influential, in the background or the corners of the scene quietly promoting the truth, usually ignored by the masses.
le sigh… the more you understand history, the more, and less, frustrating human ignorance becomes lol… there’s little else comprising the record (making it more frustrating) but when you realize that we’re all fools at best… damned fools at worst, and always have been, i think it makes everything a little better.
My point originally was that its not an astrology thing, its a humanity thing.. ignorance pervades every human discipline and endeavor to great extent. But then on the way to that point i went on a tangent about groupthink. hmm… well i stand behind all that blather so i’ll leave it as is. Thanks for letting me vent lol

Big Hello from Pittsburgh, PA to you all… Just want to introduce myself here as a practitioner of Constellational Astrology in the vein of True Sidereal.
I also practice Evolutionary Astrology, and aside from Jeffrey Wolf Green and Deva, the person I’ve learned the very most from would be Mark Jones at Pluto School, a teacher and mentor to me, and I feel that his therapeutically grounded, yet genuinely curious approach to astrology softens JWG’s kinda Nam-Vet style of presentation and application. He taught me to ask questions rather than make statements…. to engage in dialogue rather than diatribe… and for those and myriad other valuable lessons I recommend Mark with highest praise.
