It was the most entertaining and straight to the point one I found lol! Science is great and all but so is real life experience and I knew something was so off. I’d been using astrology to try to understand the people closest to me all my life, even myself. I never learned anything insightful or useful applying Tropical. As soon as I switched to Sidereal all of a sudden what I’m seeing in the chart and in the person, its aligned. I felt bamboozled fr!
::@Abbey-quinn, Stellarium has been a really good tool for me to use to cross reference. Especially when I’ve have cuspy charts:) Ya know I’m hooked on Prometheus. I love the customization options for the chart wheels and the constellation degrees. The star map is pretty dope too. Oh and its been pretty easy for a slow poke like me to navigate haha
::Hehe not another sarcastic astronomer😂 The video explains very well the affects of Precession of the Equinoxes. Imagine one day , its the year 2695 the Sun rises reaching for the stars of Aquarius. It’s a 26,000 year cycle so zero degrees Aries isn’t magically coming back into alignment anytime soon so how can a system like Tropical stay relevant? Ask yourself is my practice rooted in traditions that no longer align with the natural sky? Maybe you didn’t know there was a difference like me. I thought all astrology was based off the real sky and was shook when I found out it wasn’t😱
::@one-sky-astrology Michael! Yes, I do agree Mark Jones approach to evolutionary is softer, more refined. JWGs a total straight shooter! You nailed it about what I like about both of them and that they encourage dialogue with the client. With so many new asteroids and discoveries of dwarf planets it makes sense to use every opportunity to test the data. Personally, I’ve found the Pluto material priceless and recommend it to everyone. Yes, fall down that rabbit hole lol. Thanks for kicking off the message board 🙂
::Oh man I always thought that all modes of astrology used the real sky! Turns out I wasn’t paying attention hehe:) When I was a young girl I remember sitting outside on top of the family car watching the Perseid meteor shower. It was the early 90’s when it the meteor showers were the most intense. We lived in the middle of nowhere so the sky was lit up with beautiful falling stars. All those wishes, I thought the sky was magic. Spent a lot of time playing around with Sun signs and reading the horoscopes of everyone in my circle growing up. You know, lol, Linda Goodman books and Seventeen magazine horoscopes :p I would move on to use it in my old profession as a way to get clients talking and get to know them better. Fast forward to the covid lock down and lets say I had time to do some better research haha. First I tested out this “new” astrology on my chart, it checks. Then my family, friends…the accuracy rate is like 100% when before it would only be half right or not quite right at all. Its been quite the eye opening experience using the real sky and I guess I would go as far as saying it was like another level of spiritual awakening. Once you see, once you know, it can not be undone. There’s a lot of cool stuff going on in the sky always. A few years ago CERN cracked our magnetosphere leaving glowing ripples in the sky and it was very cool to witness that. I’ve yet to see any UAP!
