@abbey-quinn What an amazing road from where you started to where you are now. Thank God for those Vedic astrologers who lovingly led the way as you now do. I love this statement: “I want to help bring that ancient wisdom back into the mainstream.” Thank you. I hope you never stop expressing your soul song. Blessings!
::@NikiTennessen I resonate entirely with this statement, “Once you see, once you know, it cannot be undone.” The beautiful cosmic web is never far away; it whispers to us all.
::I started studying Tropical Astrology in April 2021, and even back then, I had questions about Sidereal astrology. I started looking at my sidereal chart, but when I brought it up to the teacher’s aide, I’d only get a blank stare as if I were somehow a lost sheep. I felt she knew more than I did because “Hey, I just got there,” I finished the course, and forgot about my Sidereal chart. After that first Modern Astrology class, I took Hellenistic astrology, and even though it wasn’t through the lens of Sidereal astrology, it felt true to my soul. The problem was – that nagging feeling. I was constantly looking at charts, obsessed with finding a correlation between the sky (or “the false sky”) and events in my own life. The difference was that the software program showed a chart that was 24 degrees off from the true sky, and I was disconnected from that fact because I didn’t actually look up in the sky. Fast forward to December 23, 2023. I went to Lowell Observatory on my way to the Four Corners, and mind you, I had not planned to go to the observatory until I was on the road looking for a place to stay for the night. We made our way to Lowell Observatory after checking in at the hotel. The observatory had a free constellation tour that night. The lady discussed the Constellations and the stories connected to them. I looked for an app to see the constellations up close, and that’s when I found Skyview—an app. I took a look through the Skyview app to see the constellations as she discussed them. Later, I roamed the sky with the app, confused. Jupiter was in Aries – not Taurus. I also saw Jupiter and some of its moons through a big telescope that night. Both were beautiful sights, and I thank God for the experience. I don’t feel it was a coincidence. Nothing ever is. I was guided there. It took some time for me to come to terms with seeing the reality for myself. It wasn’t until May of 2024 that I decided to step away from Tropical astrology and embrace Sidereal astrology completely. I have been in observation mode, but having this community of like-minded people has helped me immensely to feel welcome and confident in practicing astrology again, not only for myself but also for others interested in the Sidereal view.
