Welcome to the ISAA Sidereal Astrology Forum! If you’re new here, introduce yourself—share what drew you to sidereal astrology, your background, and what you’re hoping to learn or explore.
Debate, questions, and different perspectives are encouraged—this is a space for growth and exploration. However, please engage with mutual respect and an open mind. Disagreements are welcome, but personal attacks or hostile behavior are not. Let’s build a strong, collaborative sidereal community together!
16 April 2025 at 5:23 PM #4083::Big Hello from Pittsburgh, PA to you all… Just want to introduce myself here as a practitioner of Constellational Astrology in the vein of True Sidereal.
I also practice Evolutionary Astrology, and aside from Jeffrey Wolf Green and Deva, the person I’ve learned the very most from would be Mark Jones at Pluto School, a teacher and mentor to me, and I feel that his therapeutically grounded, yet genuinely curious approach to astrology softens JWG’s kinda Nam-Vet style of presentation and application. He taught me to ask questions rather than make statements…. to engage in dialogue rather than diatribe… and for those and myriad other valuable lessons I recommend Mark with highest praise.
My finished courseworks and other informations about me are on my website, https://oneskyastro.com
Great to be here and kicking off this message board… bless you all
17 April 2025 at 1:03 AM #4096::@one-sky-astrology Michael! Yes, I do agree Mark Jones approach to evolutionary is softer, more refined. JWGs a total straight shooter! You nailed it about what I like about both of them and that they encourage dialogue with the client. With so many new asteroids and discoveries of dwarf planets it makes sense to use every opportunity to test the data. Personally, I’ve found the Pluto material priceless and recommend it to everyone. Yes, fall down that rabbit hole lol. Thanks for kicking off the message board 🙂
17 April 2025 at 6:33 AM #413517 April 2025 at 6:42 AM #4136::Hi, Everyone!!! My name is Abbey Quinn. I practice ancient Mesopotamian astrology; namely Sumerian. I learned astrology by studying ancient texts and studying the Sumerian and Assyrian literature, which means I know next to nothing about the astrology of the last 2,000 years, and I’m excited to learn from everyone, and go through the certification courses ISAA is putting together! I’m in love with ancient astrology and astronomy, and I’m so grateful to be a part of an organization that promotes both!!!
18 April 2025 at 1:37 AM #4180::Hey, hey! I’m Niki and I practice constellational astrology. Ehh Id say my style leans esoteric but I do mainly focus on evolutionary principles. My approach to astrology is continually developing as I grow and gain experience though. Its really cool to see the impact this kind of work is making. I’m so happy to be sharing a space like this with all of you! I feel really lucky to be able to learn from so many talented astrologers and look forward to being apart of and contributing to this community:)
26 April 2025 at 4:22 PM #5207::Hello! Hej in Swedish 🤪
My name is Rialda (Rikki) live in Sweden but born in Serbia.
I’m a former tropical astrologer who is slowly but surely reprogramming myself. Right now, I’m taking Abby’s amazing course on Mesopotamian knowledge of astrology and the constellations, and I’m soaking up all the information like SpongeBob SquarePants in order to become a badass professional astrologer. I am so grateful for this amazing community and I am looking forward to grow and contribute with you all 🙏🏻❤️27 April 2025 at 7:31 AM #5226::Welcome, @rikki ! We’re so fortunate to have you!!! I’m glad you’re enjoying the course! It’s funny, when I went to Finland, I went to buy something at the airport, and the cashier said, “Hej”, and I was like, “What’s up?”, because in America, “Hey” is a very informal greeting. It took me a few Hejs before I caught on, but in my defense, I was pretty tired that day. Also, Serbian food is amazing! We have a ton of Serbian cafes here. Can’t recommend enough 🥰
27 April 2025 at 10:20 AM #5237::Thank you 🙏🏻💙
Haha I know exactly what you mean! “Hej” has the same meaning for Serbs. You can literally see their facial expression change—they’re instantly ready to fight, haha😅.
Yes, they do! Mainly because the amazing agriculture. But what’s truly amazing about the whole Balkan region is the nature—the mountains, the sea, the rivers and so on.💚
28 April 2025 at 4:08 PM #540428 April 2025 at 4:45 PM #5406::Maybe we can go together sometimes. I have a place both in Serbia and in Croatia 😀🙏🏻.
No Abbey. I’ve only found one or two articles about sidereal astrology. I’ve created an Instagram in Swedish and am in the process of creating a Swedish website to. Hopefully, I can find more people here and build a community…
It’s hard when you haven’t used social media for several years. I’ve been so against it, but now I probably have to, in order to connect with others.28 April 2025 at 4:48 PM #540730 April 2025 at 7:46 AM #5533 -
