If the word “month” means “moon” and each moon cycle is roughly 29 days and each month is average of 30 days… each month should end and start with every new moon phase, but sometimes we would get a new moon in the middle of the month, we are on a Gregorian calendar coming from a Julian calendar, what do you think of this guys? Are the calendars off? Would that mean horoscopes are too? Could I be a Pisces or Capricorn? So many questions…
Yeah, I think the modern calendar system is kind of a mess. I mean, I guess it’s ‘working’ because it keeps up all on the same page. But I think the lunar calendar is far superior. I switched to a lunar calendar about… I want to say 4 or 5 years ago. I had to recreate all of my own calendars, but it made my life SO much better. When you live and act in alignment with the moon, everything get’s easer–or at least, that’s been my experience 😊
In Mesopotamia, they kept both a solar and lunar calendar. When solar and lunar time were in alignment, it was considered auspicious. But even then, the lunar calendar was more important.
I used to stare at my calendar for a living so its been great not thinking about it for a few years! Sometimes I wonder if we’ll ever see a change in the current calendar we use. I mean we are living in unprecedented times lol! Saturn the lord of time and Neptune the limitless nemesis of conformity are really changing our views on our human culture and the effects of doing business in a technological world. Its ripping the mask off delusions we’ve carried around for possibly our entire lifetimes. In Pisces no less:) I don’t think a change in our shared global calendar system will happen soon but I also don’t think its completely off the table either.
