Articles may explore any topic, as long as it relates to astrology—with the understanding that all submissions must be grounded in a sidereal framework. Posts may include personal experiences, chart analysis, philosophical musings, research, teaching pieces, mythological studies, interviews, and more!
We welcome contributions from all voices in the sidereal astrology community, regardless of your experience level! If you have insights, stories, research, or reflections to share, we’d love to consider your work for publication on the Sidereal Rising blog. Please review the following guidelines before submitting

Requirements
Please Submit the following with your content:
- Title
- Author Name (Pen names are permitted)
- Citations if necessary (include at the end of the blog post).
Length & Formatting
- Minimum word count: 500 words
- Recommended: 1,000+ words for depth and quality
Exceptional posts over 1,000 words may be considered for inclusion in the Sidereal Rising Quarterly Journal, which is not available to the public. If your article is selected, an editor will contact you directly to discuss next steps.
Author Bio
Authors may include a short “About the Author” section at the bottom of their post, including their name and a brief personal statement. Only ISAA Student, Professional, or Founding Members may include business information or a link to their website.
Editing and Approval
All submissions are subject to editorial review and approval. Editors may correct spelling, grammar, and formatting for clarity and consistency. Posts may be organized into sections using appropriate H2 and H3 headings at the editor’s discretion.
Ethics & Community Standards
Editorial or opinion pieces are allowed, including those about political or religious figures. However, submissions that promote or disparage a specific political candidate, religious figure, or ideology may be rejected or returned with revision requests.
The ISAA supports free expression, but our intent is to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for sidereal astrologers of all traditions and backgrounds. Please keep this in mind when writing.
