        I use Stellarium for all of my natal analysis https://stellarium.org/, and Janus for all of my advanced calculations https://www.astrology-house.com/ At the time, it was one of the only non-Vedic programs that allowed for sidereal calculations. It’s not as pretty as some of the other professional programs, but it allows for viewing the transits in comparison to a static chart, which I haven’t found on any other program. I THINK there’s a way to set it up so that the houses align with the actual constellations, but I never figured it out, and at this point, I don’t really care. I mostly use it for predictive readings, and I don’t do a lot with the constellations at that point–it’s more about the planetary interactions.

          @Abbey-quinn, Stellarium has been a really good tool for me to use to cross reference. Especially when I’ve have cuspy charts:) Ya know I’m hooked on Prometheus. I love the customization options for the chart wheels and the constellation degrees. The star map is pretty dope too. Oh and its been pretty easy for a slow poke like me to navigate haha

            Yeah, I tried Prometheus. It seemed ok, and I know a lot of people like it. I’d just already been using Janus for a decade or so, and it was really hard to switch over. Luna cloud software is good too for people who want pro software but don’t want to spend a ton of money.

              I would say the only frustration I have with Prometheus is that the astro chart settings apply to every chart. So like I couldn’t do a multi wheel chart comparison with just the planetary nodes vs the daily transits. At least I haven’t figured out if the settings can be applied to certain charts and different settings applied to others so I can play comparison. Once the settings are chosen its across the board no matter what chart I pull up. Operator error? Very possible I haven’t played with it enough!

                Does it have an accompanying video tutorial or something? Or an instruction manual or something?

                  Witch software can I use for Mac?
                  Now I can only use Stellarium and it’s really hard to navigate on the computer because I got used to doing it on my phone 😅. Otherwise I Love Stellarium to!

                    @Rikki Agh compatibility issues are a pain. Abbey recommended Luna at one time: https://www.lunaastrology.com/explore
                    Its a cloud based software you can use on Mac. It has the bells and whistles, lots of options too! I haven’t tried it out but I would be curious know if its cool:)

                      @Abbey-Quinn I talked to Michael and he said it just doesn’t do that… yet!

                        Yeah, Luna Cloud Software is pretty good. It’s like $8/mo. I have a discount code for 10% off if anyone is interested. My only real complaint is that I can’t color-code everything–which isn’t usually an issue for normal people 😄

                          @Abbey-Quinn can you email me that discount code for Luna Cloud? I’d like to see what it can do.

                            @one-sky-astrology I sure will! It’s got a 30-day money-back so you can test it out 😉

                              I started with both Kepler and WinStar back in 2007 and today I largely use Sirius for most of my work. I am always evaluating the newcomers including Prometheus which lately has had an issue and which I believe Athen is addressing with a new online offering. I am currently looking at AstroApp and will also take up the recommendation of Luna too as cloud-based makes a lot of sense and the winner will be the one who imho has managed to integrate 13 sign charts.

                                @sir-ius Yes, we’re planning on developing a sidereal-only software, but it’s a ways down the road 😉

                                  I just found out about the new Prometheus offering and don’t know that much about it! I’ll have to do some research 🙂 I know its going to be offered as a monthly subscription? That’s all I know so far:/
