The constellation Aries hosts the New Moon lunar cycle this month and its quietly activating themes related to our sense of identity, fear of the unknown, and partnerships of all kinds. Aries stars invoke a colorful waking dream life that encourages you to imagine yourself playing the part of the hero, the rock star lol or the desirable lover oozing with sex appeal. Think back to when Mars was transiting Aries summer of 2024. What kind of dreams and desires did you align with at that time? Pluto’s opposition creates a synergy with Mars where the Martian receptivity is heightened and we may feel like trail blazing or stepping onto a whole new life path. Jupiter is squaring the lunar nodes so it could create challenges like choosing growth over what has always felt familiar to you or you might face some choices that have bigger consequences than usual. It could distort how we see ourselves playing our part in the reality we experience on the daily. Anyway that’s the short of it and I’m curious what others see. Happy New Moon:)

I wondered if I was just being neurotic or something, but then it just occurred to me that my Moon is in Aries, so I’m probably just running up on my lunar calendar reset! Thanks, Niki. I spent the last week trying to convince myself I was just being silly. Never would have made the connection if you hadn’t said something. AND, it makes me feel more justified going all in on some ritual detox tomorrow 😉
27 April 2025 at 6:40 PM #5388::@abbey-quinn its happening between my Midheaven and Mars/Mercury 9th house 🙂 I’m totally finding similarities between the now and the month Mars was in Aries last year. He entered around June 11th and left around the middle of July 2024. At that time I was in between day jobs, we had just finished your ancient astrology course, and I had pulled together a short lived study group at that time. Now we launched the ISAA, I’m balancing my day job with my star work, and were in discussions about the future, education, and promotion of sidereal with a very talented group of astrologers. Its so far out!
Hey detoxing doesn’t sound like a bad idea to start right now at all! Recently I was thinking about what I can change about my lifestyle so I can focus more on my work with the stars lol so there definitely is something to the cosmic reset powers in Aries!
5 May 2025 at 11:31 AM #6335::We all know Mars is an activator and in Cancer I feel he’s been really pulling on our heart strings. This transit has been stirring up intense feelings around our physical needs, our habits around how we build security for ourselves and others, and our past & present pains (with Pluto’s influence) As Mars closes in on Neptune’s N. Node the over sensitivity toward our current life themes start to make more sense. We may start to realize we’re in this void area of push and pull where the past can be romanticized and the future seems unattainable, or we’re just plain stuck in our tracks because we don’t know how to push through the emotional tides. I think it’s a good time to trust your physical cues, get grounded through meditation or yoga, get enough rest, and allow your intuition to guide you without the influence of personal desire. It’s good to remember that when you take time to heal your heart, soul, and physical body- you’re also healing your ancestral bloodline. This lunar cycle is unexpectantly super emotional for me and knew there had to be another factor in the astro equation lol!
